Rough start, but yeah, something to build on after that. You can give Coach all the crap you want, but no one can deny that our team sucked out loud before he got here. If someone had told me we'd have "the best team in the Big 12 North" (assuming there was one at that time) before he got there, I would have taken that in a heartbeat.

If there is one thing that Danny Mac aka dan mccarney can do its to rebuild a football program like....now let me see...........

Iowa- Wisconsin- Iowa State & now North Texas.

North Texas "Mean Green" had one of the WORST defenses in the country last year, and its gonna take a few years .. like 4 or 5 to turn the program around but danny mac will get it done.

No scarcity of high school talent in the state of texas and Danny Mac can recruit the gems that other coaches miss. anyone remember Ellis Hobbs?

Dan McCarney accomplished things at ISU that no one before him ever had and maybe never will, good luck to yee danny boy and I wish you the best and Im hoping for better things outta the Mean Green from No Texas.
