How exactly is Nebraska "destabilizing" the Big 10? After it happened, in his remarks, Delaney seemed to say NU might have been invited in even if they had not been in the AAU. Me thinks you folks are making light of some thing that has almost no meaning.

Wow, since when was Mr. not enough to denote sarcasm? Oh, that's right - we're talking about GEDhawk here...

So Mary Sue with this vote suggested she preferred ISU over NU? Is that right? I am surprised I had not read that. I know you are just "assuming".

Academics are important. I am making a reasonable inference, though it appears that may be beyond your comprehension. I believe Nebraska is the only school to have ever been voted out of the AAU. That ought to count for something.

For hopefully the last time, word is Mizzou got word of Nebraska's lobbying for B1G entry, and what TO was up to his whole time in DC was greasing politicians in B1G states to lobby them for kNU's entry into the B1G. They then said wait a second, we are a much better candidate, and so they showed the universities a little leg.

Mizzou isn't innocent, but let's not forget NU repeatedly blocked revenue sharing, then ran away like babies after the worm had turned. Mizzou was in our position, Nebraska wasn't, and CU has always sucked.

Surprise, surprise......Nebraska was added to the Big Ten for football not academics. Who didn't see that? Nebraska was given 10 years to improve their lot and they didn't, end of story. Syracuse was about to get booted out as well, but they decided to leave themselves before they got a "Nebraska vote".

I don't think Nebraska caused as much instability in the league as Missouri did last year.

I do not expect Nebby to make it back to AAU status as it is not that easy to get in. The state dollars are not there and the feds are not throwing it away as much in the future.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Yet another in the long line of defend the husker posts.

osborne is a bad guy, he was a bully in the big 8, and when the conference changed, he still had a program that was on top. He did EVERYTHING in his scummy power to try to keep other programs down. He sided with UT on EVERY revenue vote. Then when UT got even bigger, and consistently kicked the **** out of nebbie, the piece of **** decided that his ***** hurt too much when he realized he couldn't beat UT.

nebbie was trying to get out of UT's (big brother) shadow, and he had a tradition. They certainly have not been a worthy program the past 10 years, but you inbred huskers have nothing else in life.
