If Texas and ND join the B1G, why wouldn't they take us and Missouri to get to 16? They would have more media market than they know what to do with. I'm not trying to be a homer, I'm just an idiot when it comes to this stuff.

Does the B1G really want Syracuse or Rutgers for the NE market, if that means all their sports will suck except Syracuse BB? Plus, no one cares about college athletics there. No rivalry will form out of that.

What does Pitt or WVU bring? Not much more of a market than ISU. Very good basketball programs, and not much else. Especially academics.

ISU brings academics, great wrestling, volleyball and women's basketball programs. Football and men's basketball programs that have had success and are rebuilding fast. Plus, the opportunity to build rivals.
