I see the conference as fairly stagnant in football right now. What are your thoughts?
Lots of programs doing nothing but treading water.
-coaching changes imminent: UCLA/Arizona/WSU
Can you add Cal into that group as well? Tedford has been there for seemingly forever, and might be facing 2nd consecutive losing season. Seems they topped out at 8-4.(?)
Oregon State is horrible this year, but Riley should have a long leash.
Colorado is still Colorado. Losing close games at home and getting pounded on the road.
I see half the conference is in bad shape.
-Outside of OU/Stanford/USC
ASU and Washington appear to be trending upward.
ASU has Utah this week. Probably a game that tells us a lot about both programs along with Washington and their recent win over the Utes.
I don't know if Utah is in a transition year or not with personnel. Did they lose a lot from last year?
I see that Wynn didnt play in the 2nd half against Washington and it was a 10-7 game at the half. 31-17 loss might be misleading.

I would add Utah to the "trending upward" category. They are playing a PAC-12 schedule with Mountain West Conference recruits.
Also, Wynn suffered an injury in that Washington game is out for at least the next two weeks, so their performance against Arizona State this weekend may not reflect how talented the Utes really are.
I just have a feeling that Stanford has lightning in a bottle for a few years. I just can't see them sustaining it. It's just like their basketball team has done numerous times in my life.
I think if the Pac 10 and Big 10 didn't have their new look to get the media excited they would be getting a lot more criticism for being pretty average. There are just a lot of mediocre teams in those conferences, but its being overshadowed by realignment
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan.

Good point. Everyone in the media is knocking the Big 10 for shoddy performances this year, but I think the Pac-12's sucktitude is being overshadowed by realignment, and the Big 10's on field woes.
