I'm talking to a drunken tavern Hawk in Cedar Rapids about this subject right now as a matter of fact. They're astonished that I will be rooting for Nebraska when they meet this November. My reasoning is that my wish is for Iowa State to be the premier football team in the state. Any true Cyclone fan should want the same. Suffice to say my position is met with much ridicule.

Iowa, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Missouri, USC, Auburn, Alabama...really, you can add about every SEC and Big Ten team to the list. I don't mind seeing Minnesota or Northwestern win, though.

Not true, most leagues you have to win your tourney to get in. Its not like the big east where you finish 500 you'll automatically make it.
