Mark May is Fired Up!

I'm watching College Football Live right now. Mark May gave some commentary, all which I agree with. He is ready to bust some skulls. He said he would have had a "physical confrontation" with Sandusky if he witnessed the incident rather than what Mcquiery did.

It's really hard to for anyone to say for certain what they would do in that situation, but at least I think most of us would hope that we'd run to the aid of a young boy being raped.

At the very least, how do you continue to work with someone you know is doing that? It's really really mind-boggling to me.

Me too, and I'm not as big as Mark May. At that point, I'd rather get my *** kicked if it ended the situation for the child.

I am admittedly not a Mark May fan, but I thought he hit the nail on the head. Totally agree with everything he said.

I also agree with him that there could be a lot more to come with this. I suspect some sort of "if you tell anyone about this, you are done in football" toward mcQuery or "if you don't tell anyone, we'll hire you straight away" type of thing.

How exactly do you coach football and sleep with a child? How much of a sicko do you have to be? how is this possible? I just dont get it.

you know, that's not even the question that bothers me, because that guy is just a ******* deranged psychopath.

The question that bothers me is how do you continue to work with, side-by-side, day after day, someone who you know is abusing children. And continue to provide an environment where he has access to children alone!

Not only do you confront him, but you literally try to rip his balls off during the confrontation. Justice via castration. Prevent him from ever trying to do that again.

I am fairly certain he would have been killed or nearly killed if it was me and I am also fairly certain I would have spent very little time in jail. I dont know if a jury could be hard on a person in that position. I dont get emotionally worked about a lot of things but this whole deal has rattled me.

Probably wouldn't prevent him from doing it again, but worth a try.

I read the testimony today, and I was in tears the whole time. This has been deeply unsettling for me and I just wish I could do something! I hate feeling powerless in this situation. I've worked with kids for a few years at summer camps and school programs for summer jobs and it absolutely sickens me. They are so fun to be around and I can't imagine how a "human being" could do this to them.
