They actually have quite a few people that are willing to throw money at them, instead of one super rich T. Boone. However, convincing a large number of less rich people to donate is harder than having one super fan. aTm has underachieved for years which probably isn't helping their donor base open their wallets.

Doesn't A&M have someone lined up to give $100mil now that they are moving to the SEC? Thought I remember that rumor being presented in the thread that won't die.
