And Mr. Janny has a good point. My Randy Brown analogy doesn't quite hold water because we never had a good opportunity to cover it up in retrospect.
How about the two sub-geniuses who "allegedly" raped a teammates sister a few years ago? They were found not guilty by a jury, and then instead of welcoming them back with open arms, Mac told them to hit the road. Jeebus, Mac even took crap from idiots like J. Miller for not accepting the jury's verdict and letting them return to the program. As if the infraction of "double-teaming your teammate's sister while she's intoxicated" isn't enough of an reason to justify your removal.
That's not a severe test of our principles, but it was a case where "going along with the jury's verdict" would have been something we could have made a case for. Not a good one, but we could have let a lawyer make it for us (they don't have souls anyway, so lying for them is like riding a bike).
