Michigan
No way should they get a BCS bid. They have played a very weak schedule. Michigan has had 8 home games and 4 away games. So far they are 2-2 on the road. They have played 2 teams in the Top 25 splitting those and have a 1-1 record.
Michigan has played a weak schedule and should not be rewarded for it.

With a bit of luck, the Buckeyes will take them down.

They've played 3 teams in the top 25 actually

Re: Michigan
Michigan is rated #15 in the BCS poll as of this week, has no prayer of getting into the B1G title game (MSU has already clinched that), and OSU more than likely isn't going to get Michigan high enough in the BCS poll to get them an at-large.
They really don't have a prayer at getting into a BCS bowl this year. Although I'm curious as to why people are thinking they do have a shot...

edit: I guess Wisconsin is right behind them. Georgia and South Carolina are right in front of them and both of those could drop a game.
Anyway the point still stands that it will take a lot of things to go right for Michigan not to get to 14th.

Re: Michigan
so we should be cheering for tOSU it sounds like.

Re: Michigan
Michigan did NOT play Penn State and Wisconsin this year. WEAK schedule. I don't know how you can place a team with a poor SOS like Michigan and a mediocre record in a BCS game. Many teams more deserving.

Re: Michigan
Michigan would get destroyed in a BCS bowl game. If they get in I would like to see them get absolutely dominated by Houston.

Re: Michigan
Honestly, I'm not entirely sure 2 Big 10 teams deserve a BCS bowl this year. As weak as the Big 10 is this year, having 8-9 wins doesn't mean you're a good team. Then again, huge fan base, so they would probably be chosen despite how good of a team they are.

If they are in the top 15, 10-2 Michigan will get picked ahead of 10-2 Kansas State.
More $$$ for the bowl.
And because you can basically count on Houston, a 2nd SEC team, and Stanford claiming 3 of the 4 at-large BCS bids, having Michigan be a viable option is bad news for the Big 12.
That's why we all should be pulling for Notre Dame and Ohio State tomorrow.

Re: Michigan
They lost to Iowa so they should be automatically taken out of consideration.... -

Re: Michigan
Michigan in good shape for an at large, probably will play houston?

But, the BCS is about money, not rewarding better teams.
