so let me get this straight
Urban meyer could not handle the stress at florida but he can at ohio state. I like the reports that say in the last year he figured out how to balance football and family. Hey urban. If its in you as a person there is nothing you can do about it. No way he lasts more than a few years before he is having stress problems again
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

It's like they said on the herd yesterday. It's the big ten. You're at Ohio state. You don't have to stay up late worrying about how you're going to beat Iowa. It's not the sec.

It's not the sec. Or Indiana....or Minnesota...Northwestern. Then the middle tier programs in the Big 10 like Illinois and Purdue, which have beaten OSU in recent years but shouldn't have been able to. He pretty much only has to worry about Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and maybe Michigan State.
The SEC is a grind practically every week. The B1G? Not so much.

Cause I'm sure Nick Saban stays up late at night worrying about how to be Ole Miss.(Or Kentucky, Vandy, Miss St.) The top dog in every conference usually only has one or two teams to "worry" about. The rest is just focus and avoiding flukes.
The SEC love fest needs to stop. They have 2 or 3 really great teams each year. The rest is pretty ordinary. Half the conference has a losing record for god's sake.

Yeah. I'm quaking in my boots. The only 2 teams in that list that I would feel comfortable about going up against right now as a coach would be Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Re: so let me get this straight
They're 11-9 in bowls the last 2 years. Big freakin deal.
They're 3-1 in BCS bowls. Yeah, their top one or 2 teams are usually the best two. They are very impressive in that area.
They're 8-8 outside of the BCS. Color me not impressed with their "depth"
Having the best TEAM does not = having the best depth necessarily.

Re: so let me get this straight
I agree. The lovefest for the SEC is disgusting. Would LSU or Alabama beat almost any team in the nation? Yeah, probably, but after them, there's a massive drop. Arkansas is good, but has beaten up on the downtrodden teams.
Heck, look at the Big XII. If Tech can get one more, won't that be 9 of our 10 teams that will be going bowling? Sorry, it's a tougher gauntlet in our conference.

Be joyful - one less team going after Coach Paul Rhoads
