    Man, I tied for 5th in points but had fewer correct picks, so I finished out of the top 5. Better than I thought I would do.

    The tie breaker was to correctly pick the winner of the Alabama-LSU game. You picked the loser, The York picked the winner so he got 5th place and you got 6th.

    that is just silly if true. i think the way these pickem tourneys are set up with confidence points is ridiculous. the confidence points themselves should be the tie breaker with the number of correct picks being the #1 criteria. why should someone who gets 28 games correctly lose to someone who picked less games correctly? this system is just asinine. "yeah you did way better than me in picking the actual games correctly, but man i was just so confident that oregon would win and you weren't so i win". stupid.
