Lost 8 out of 9 now. Only win the ugly 42-41 upset of Michigan State. Still have tOSU, Michigan, and Wisconsin (and Iowa) left. 7-11 conference record, at best.

Bruce Weber is just not a good coach.

Illinois replaced one of their starters today to light a fire. Their tent is now on fire.

At one time today, the tallest player on the floor for either side was 6-4. A real barnburner.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Only difference is Illinois won their bowl game. Bruce is a good coach, you don't go 37-2 in a season and not be a good coach. But his time at Illinois is over. I've been a Weber supporter from day 1 but this is embarrassing. He needs to go now.

That 37-2 season was with Bill Self's players.

Down 30 now to the last place team in the league. That would crush the tournament hopes of a team even if they were looking strong before, which they weren't.

66-36 now. Six minutes left. Husker fans are jacked at the Devaney. It has been a long time since they had this big a lead.

And he hasn't done crap since. Not one Sweet 16 appearance or Big Ten title. It's not good enough for Illinois standards.

True, but Roy has continued success at UNC and KU.

The point is that recruiting and developing players is part of coaching. He has done a pretty bad job of it at a school that is historically pretty dang good.
