Bad Roommates

Any of you have things about your college roommates that annoyed the **** out of you?

-One of my roommates leaves his chew spitters all over our apartment. Smells pretty good.

-The other roommates eats like a pig and makes unbelievably loud "banana noise" sounds when he chews.

In my college days my roomate would blow it up with taco's with his girlfriend(who hung around way too much) and leave the remnants--skillet with old taco meat and other dirty dishes-- sit there for another week or so

I had a roomate who would leave spitters all over the place. Great guy, but that grossed me the **** out.

The only thing that EVER bothered me was the laziness in a few common things, such as stacking dirty dishes in the sink and never putting them in the dishwasher. If you're going to put the dishes somewhere, why wouldn't you just put them in the dishwasher?

I have that conversation with my current roommate (wife) on a daily basis.

This ticks me off too. I have two roommates that don't take their clean dishes out of the dishwasher so all of our dirty dishes stack up. And when the dishwasher is empty, it takes them forever to put their dirty stuff in the dishwasher.

this is always a good thread I think I had one last year. first off I will say I have had really good roommates and really bad roommates.

my roommates from this year are great. we get along just fine we dont have arguments or anything but somethings make me upset.

I cant stand that they do not like sports, it drives me up the wall.

I also live with a freshman he is clueless doesnt drink and is against it but really doesnt care that me and my other roommate binge drink everyweekend. they are also kind of quiet and can sometimes be tough to hold a conversation.

in all i have great roommates compared to last year.

I respect you... don't think I could live with that ever again. My current roommate (G/F) is good about the stuff that can eventually stink/mold, but is bad with cloths, papers, mail, etc. If shes done wearing something, and its not dirty, shell just throw it on top of our TV stand and save it for later. I'm always asking why she just cant put it back in the closet, but that never seems to make a difference. She typically will take care of it once a week, so it never gets too out of control, but I guess no one can be perfect like me!

When I was living in Florida, I had a roommate who would get cold at night because the air was running and turn the heat on 90 degrees. He would warm up but everybody else would be sweating. I would tell him if him he should open a window or sleep with some covers because for some reason he was against it.

I had a roommate that had a problem with the shower - he didn't use it frequently enough. I don't think he owned any deodorant either. His girlfriend was over every night. That wouldn't be so bad but she was a screamer.

I cannot believe it. He must be taking credit of another roommate without you knowing.

women are dirty creatures. I cant stand women who are messy huge red flag for me.

It is the inefficiency that bothers me. In the time it takes you to do something incorrectly and eventually redo it you could have just done it right the first time.

Although it may be more efficient for her, consider as she does it incorrectly once...then leaves it for me to correct.
