    Calipari

Did anyone hear him say this last night?

"Hug your mom, hug your dad and then hug me, turn me around so the camera sees my face."

He makes me want to vomit.

I'm pretty sure he was joking when he said the last part.

I don't like the guy at all, buy I'll go a step further: I'm 100% percent certain he was joking. I'm all for bashing him for being a scumbag and for shady recruiting tactics, but come on now.

I took it as joking around having a good time as well.

You should also have noticed that Anthony Davis was talking and laughing through that little speech as well so who knows if he was actually paying attention.

Hands down the best coach in college basketball. Cares more about his kids than probably 95% of coaches out there and is by far the best at preparing his kids for the NBA game.

Actually got a chance to hear him speak at an event I was attending. I'm not necessarily a fan of his, but one thing that he said that stuck out to me is when he is making a visit to a recruit, the first thing that he looks at is how the kid treats his mom. The kid could be the top prospect in the nation, but if he doesn't have respect for his mom, Cal will walk out without thinking twice.

    Re: Calipari

There was not doubt he was "joking" about it but you know he really meant it. It is his personality.

I like his tweet that he sent out to recruits too, apoligizing to recruits because he was too busy to talk to them while at the draft getting 6 players drafted.

I mean come on. Just put you have six players getting drafted don't say that other crap.

He is a good talker, that is what makes him a great recruiter. That and his connection to guys like world wide wes and now Lebron James who he has had come visit the locker room after games.

I see you have fallen for his smooth talking.

Cal has a heart? I cannot deny the guy is the best recruiter out there. I think he cheats but until he is 100% proven he has cheated in recruiting then he is the best recruiter.

Idk how anyone can think this guy is the best coach though. As much as I hate Kansas, Self is the best coach in the country...hands down. I have never seen a coach as good as him at getting everything out of his players.

Pretty tough job to take 5 kids who are 1 and done talents and turn them into NBA players... where is my violin.
