Was pretty faint- probably some jack-*** hawk fan trying to mess with CMU.

Professional on what basis? They are hired by their respective university to call their games through the eyes of a Central Michigan backed announcer. They are not unbiased announcers hired television networks or other non university affiliated radio stations like ESPN Radio or Westwood One. Next, they were just as shocked as everybody else, so how do you know what you're going to say at the exact moment when those events unfurl.....Radio play by play is a lot harder than an armchair quarterback would think....
Apparently they were unprofessional compared to the likes of Zabel and Dolphin.
Those two guys know how to call a game:jimlad:
Worst color commentary since Dolph Pulliam?
Not unprofessional, but just bad. Sounded like our student station.
Sounded like a play-by-play guy in the booth with a hyena. ******* terrible.
I don't think the announcers thought they had a chance to beat Iowa, and were giddy about getting to the point where an onside kick was even an option. Then when the Hawks watch the kick roll right past them and they get it, they had to feel like they found a winning lottery ticket. I am sure that these are guys that have had a long time connection to the sports teams at CMU.
I was just thinking the other day that they have watered down the rules for the onside kick so much that there was no way anyone would be able to get one anymore, and then Iowa goes and proves me wrong.
This clip was brought to you by The Laughing Monkey of Central Meechegan.
Talk about unprofessional...

The guy sounds like a monkey when he laughs
does anyone have the Iowa radio call for the last couple minutes of that game yesterday?
Whoever is #80 for Iowa should have his scholarship revoked. He actually jumps out of the way, just unbelievable.
