What, no Zabel like call to "kiss your radios"? I like the guy laughing hysterically instead of calling the game.

This is the first I've seen any footage of the game. Now I know what Iowa fans are talking about regarding a whistle on the onside kick. Very odd.

And why were they kicking from the 30? Was there a penalty on an attempt before this one?

Frankly the giggling kind of ruined it for me. I'd like to see the same clips with the hawkeye radio call. Of course they would have been saying on the final kickoff that CMU narrowly saved a hawk TD.

I had the same thought listening to ND-Mich game on the radio in the car. For about the last ten minutes of the game, the guy never said how much time was left.

I heard the whistle too but don't refs blow the whistle before every kick?

I don't recall it being blown after a player has started moving toward the ball during a kick though.

I'll have to say that radio announcer was pretty unprofessional, doesn't sound like they are to used to winning games. I enjoyed Iowa losing but that announcer was aweful
