Man, how awesome would that be?

Expand back to 12 with Nebraska and Louisville. New Big 12 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Original Big 12

In reality, I am guessing Osborne is stepping down.

Just ventured over to HuskerBoard (where's my soap??) and they seem to think that Osborne is going to retire and they'll be starting an AD search.

Re: Nebraska Presser to Discuss Future of Athletics

I'm guessing it's Osborne's retirement. I have nothing to go on, but that would be about their future.

Re: Nebraska Presser to Discuss Future of Athletics

My sources say that Osborne is announcing that he is firmly entrenched at Nebraska
“I told you, I don’t care if you’re black or white. I don’t care if you’re rich or poor. I don’t care where you come from, whether it’s Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I don’t care about any of that… But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads

So would Nebby's athletics go downhill if Osborne retires or would they be better off?

Why would he retire? He's only 104.
