voter polls vs. computers, B1G gets 5-15 spot bump

So watching NW vs. PSU that would be the battle for 8th or 9th place in the 10 team Big 12...and it's just staggering to me that NW is ranked without beating anyone good.

They're 41 in most BCS formula computers that use nothing but the quality of wins and losses (ISU is 40th for comparison). I don't get why anyone pays one shred of attention to the AP or Coaches polls that inflate the same handful of crappy midwest teams every year. They're fine polls for picking the top 3 or 5 in the nation usually, beyond that it's just irrational Big Ten lovefest year after year. The league has absolutely no reason to have a ranked team beyond Nebraska and OSU right now.
