I don't think ISU fans would rush either if our stands were that high off the field.

Rushing that field is about engineering. They should have a plan and equipment in place.

I think the Omaha channels will have it, but I vote no on your suggestion of watching that. I will read about it in the paper and listen to the BS all week on Omaha's sports radio. The whining in Husker land will commence, and it is about the only thing worse than the SJ vs JB QB threads on this board. But Clones win today, so all is good!

We want to be ranked, we need to down K-State this week. We'll be somewhere getting votes but not ranked I think.

From 21-25, only Rutgers won (or is winning). Washington will lose to Oregon, and that's 35-7 right now. Looks like it won't even be close.

I'd say that there are plenty of vacancies in the Top 25 Inn, and the media have been ready for a while to welcome Paul Rhoads and the Cyclones to the Top 25 for a while now.
No guarantees, but there is a very solid chance that we go in this week.

No guarantees, but there is a very solid chance that we go in this week.

If UCLA continues to cooperate, we really might have a shot. If they lose, them, Northwestern, Nebraska, Washington, and TCU will be out of the AP. Stanford and aTm could have helped us out a bit if they hadn't managed to come back today. We'll have to jump a bunch of teams, but we could be one of the four that slip in. Would be cool to have a top 25 showdown next week.

(Note: Not saying I'm convinced we necessarily deserve it)

Given the topsy-turvy way of college football this year, I'd say that we do deserve it. Whether we keep deserving it is up in the air, but we have as good a case as the teams set to drop out.
