At best, it's poorly thought on her part. It seems pretty desperate, but it can't be Gene's fault.
That's pretty close. It's fundamentalist, charismatic-speak. I understand the "language" perfectly because I grew up with it. I won't get anymore detailed than that because if I did this post would be 15 pages long.

It still makes me wonder how the same AD could hire this guy and CPR. I guess maybe he learned something along the way. Same deal with McDoormat and CFH.

It's not fundamentalist. We don't claim that stuff.
OK, backing away from the cave.
Re: Facebook post by Auburn's head coach's wife
So many people on her page say they knew what she meant, but nobody actually says what she meant, including herself. I assume that she is talking about his job being at risk, but I don't think she or any of her friends have actually said this.
Re: Facebook post by Auburn's head coach's wife
She should look on the bright side, maybe Dan McCarney will give him a water boy job.
Re: Facebook post by Auburn's head coach's wife
Auburn helped us, and now she is helping everybody. He's still find something, but it won't be easy for the Chiz to find work after this fiasco.

I am wondering who is confirming for her that it is in fact satan talking. Bobby Lowd.... I mean God, may be telling her that and she should probably take that with a grain of salt.
Oh well, back to coaching at Stephen F. Austin for Geno!
Re: Facebook post by Auburn's head coach's wife
She seems like the type that might spend her way through the $7.5 million buyout pretty quickly.

It's not a buyout. It's a blessing.

I think because McCarney was still a fairly popular coach when JP decided to let him go he probably felt he had to get someone who immediately looked like a sexy hire. Maybe he really did think Chizik was the best fit for ISU, but I just don't think he would have felt he had the leeway to hire someone like CPR in 2007. Because of the way Chizik left, when he did that coaching search, I think he felt way less limited about who he could hire that the fanbase would accept.

True, but I think DB coach at Stephen F. Austin is more suited to his abilities, not to put down Stephen F. Austin's football program:smile:.

I have to spread rep, but that is so fitting and perfect.
Re: Facebook post by Auburn's head coach's wife
Remember the story of the agent who got Chiz the Auburn job? IIRC, the story made it sound kind of like they had to hire him

Wasn't the Lowder family (Ed specifically) the ones who got rid of the old AU coach and got Chizek hired? Since Ed is now passed on, there is no one to guard Chizek's back.
