So, in essence, subject the entire bowl system to the BCS treatment? And even if it's not quite as bad as the BCS treatment, with a SOS component you're leaving your fate in the hands of the teams you play. I think I prefer it like it is.

We know what we need to do to get to a bowl, so it's up to the coaches and the team to go out and do it. Yes, it's much more difficult for us, but I'd rather play in the Big 12 knowing that it's difficult to make a bowl every year than play in CUSA even if we were guaranteed a bowl berth every year.

Only haunting thing I can think of is we have to play there next year. But at this point in time there's a million other things to worry about.

Although if someone told me all their key players were seniors I could just check it off the list.
