I blame Louisiana-Monroe for ruining the Chiz's perfect season. Maybe that's what Frau Chiz was actually blaming on Satan. Perfection is now unattainable, where it was once well within reach. It's tough to take that sort of loss.
I'll tell you what...I love seeing Chizik lose. He is a CEO coach through and through, he was right about that. The only thing he knows about coaching is how to let the people underneath him do all of the work, and if he hires bad coaches, he'll put all the blame on them to stay afloat.
I'm sure he'll try to weasel his way out of this predicament (his wife is already trying to lay the groundwork), but hopefully the more he keeps losing, the more people will be calling for his head instead. I'm not so sure his actual seat is all that hot. I'm fully expecting him to fire his OC, possibly his porn-stache DC as well, soon or by the end of the season (a regular McFarland/Bolt situation) in order to spill blood to appease the masses.
As we’ve written previously, and we’ve pounded home this point time and time again: Chizik has done nothing of import at the collegiate level without Cam Newton as his quarterback.
Whether it’s tomorrow or next month or after what will likely be a bowl-less 2012 season, D-Day will indeed be coming for Chizik and the Auburn football program before the calendar flips to 2013. If there’s not an abrupt change to the direction of the current season, the only surprise would be AU clinging to a head coach whose in over his head when he’s sans a Heisman winner under center.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
She also seems to think that professed Christians are never supposed to struggle or face difficult times, much less have to face being bad at their job.
You could say that I have a long list of concepts that would blow her mind.
