"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr -

I'm curious how you got to so many....? Did you know a player, or do you just travel to a ton of games for kicks? I love going to different stadiums and schools, kudos for sure.
Not a player, family of player, etc. Just a huge fan of college football. My dad grew up an Iowa fan and I was raised that way until around 8th grade when I "saw the light". A little breakdown of the stadiums I listed:
Big 12: All -- I went to at least one ISU road game every year in college, usually the non-BCS non-con game + a B12 or two; or the Iowa game + a B12 or two. Knocked out all stadiums as of 2011, plus a couple trips to Nebraska, Mizzou, and Kansas while in high school earlier in the decade.
Big 10: All -- Dad was a Hawkeye fan. Starting when I was around 7, we started traveling together for sporting events. Hit up all of the Big 10 stadiums via Iowa road games.
Pac 12: Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA -- various family fall/thanksgiving break trips out west as a kid; Utah -- brother goes to school there, checked out a game this year; Arizona State -- Insight Bowl & game as a kid; Colorado when it was part of the Big 12
Big East: UConn -- ISU game in 2011, Pitt & South Florida -- various family trips as a kid
ACC: North Carolina -- visited UNC on high school visit my senior year because I was interested in going to school there and they had a home game that weekend so we went; Va Tech -- family trip
SEC: Mizzou & Texas A&M when they were Big 12; Tennessee & Georgia -- family trips
Independent: Army, Navy -- my parents are retired military and made it a point of taking all of us as kids to these schools to watch a game; BYU: brother lives near, saw game this year
Mountain West: UNLV -- ISU game in 2008; Air Force, Colorado State -- lived in CO for a while and they were nearby and saw Air Force as a kid as well
MAC: Kent State, Toledo -- ISU games; Ohio U -- college visit; Northern Illinois -- thanksgiving game break game in college to see a friend play I think
Sun Belt: Troy, Western Kentucky -- family trips
Favorite? I listed a few earlier, but two stand out, other than Jack Trice Stadium:
Army: Great setting, pageantry is surreal, cadet support is outstanding. The campus at West Point is truly something spectacular to see.
Texas A&M: one of the loudest stadiums I've been in, it really does shake when they do their song and everyone sways, cool (albeit a little weird and borderline cultish) traditions. Midnight Yell was fun. Oh, and I was there for the '05 ISU game so it was a good one! -

Re: What FBS stadiums have you been to?
I've already posted, but here's my to do list:
Hate to say it, but after growing up as a Nebraska fan, and with a 22 year old brother as a die-hard Husker, I think I may start going to the occasional B1G game to see some of the cool stadiums in the conference. Would love to see games at:
-Ohio State
-Penn State
-Wisconsin
-Michigan
-Northwestern (lived in Chicago for a year, and surprised I never saw a game there - would use it as an excuse for a Chicago weekend)
Also would love to see games at:
-LSU
-South Carolina
-Clemson
-Notre Dame
-Washington
-Oregon
-Oregon State
Open to other suggestions, to add to the "to do" list...

Re: What FBS stadiums have you been to?
I've only been to Jack Trice. For people like me, could you others that have been to other places describe what they were like. Maybe rank them by what the atmosphere was like or how cool the stadiums were. How do they compare to the Jack?

Nebraska is one of the best places to see a game. The stadium is huge, the fans (older ones) are respectful for the most part, and it can get incredibly loud in there.
Texas A&M was a great experience, the fans treated us great, unparalleled atmosphere. The stadium truly shakes. The game I saw there wasn't close, but I can imagine how it would be in a close game.
KState had a fun tailgate, similar to ISU but with livestock. As a farm kid, I actually thought that was super cool. Fans were generally good. Stadium not super impressive, but still a good atmosphere.
TCU had an average tailgate. Fans were nice and welcoming. Stadium was recently renovated, and super cool, especially from the top decks where you could see downtown Ft Worth. Fan showing at the first TCU game was disappointing, as you could read from a previous thread. Overall good experience.
Arizona State was a cool place to see a game, but still can't get over the bathrooms. They had troughs that were in an oval shape with a barrier in the middle, where you could look the guy across from you in the eye. Awkward.
That help?

Re: What FBS stadiums have you been to?
Jack Trice and Notre Dame Stadium. And the Metrodome for a Vikings game if that counts since UofM used to play there.
Edit: I forgot about Sun Devil Stadium. I was there for the Insight Bowl 2009.

“I told you, I don’t care if you’re black or white. I don’t care if you’re rich or poor. I don’t care where you come from, whether it’s Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I don’t care about any of that… But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads -

Air Force Tank, what did yo think of Tennessee's stadium while you were there? I was just down there for he TN vs. Bama game a few weeks ago. Most of the stadium is getting up there in age, but it was a great game atmosphere. We do have them beat in he scoreboard department thought.
