Yep Phil Bates transfered there as well.
He's having a hell of a season so far. I think it's because of the opposition, but who knows.
Beau transferred to Ohio U because he felt it was a better fit as far as him being able to play running back. He felt he wouldn't see the field as a RB at ISU, but he has excelled at Ohio. Was a key member of special teams for ISU in '09. Happy to see him doing well at the position he was determined to play.
I think Bates played mostly receiver at Ohio. I was pretty disappointed when he left. I always thought he had a lot of potential as an all-purpose player. Glad to see Beau do well though. Always hope those guys would do well for us instead, but I'm not sure how he would have fit in with Shontrelle and White.
Isn't Bates on the Seahawks roster now?
Signed too practice squad.
Beau is good. He is a tough runner, and has a burst. He and James White are similar, but my guess is Beau would be on the field for us a lot.
Ohio's special teams need some serious work. Wow.
He's having a good game tonight.
Bobcats' special teams...not so much. 2 blocked punts. 1 fumbled snap -- no punt. 1 snap through the legs for a safety. Dropped reception of a punt.
That last possession in the redzone was horrible by Tettleton. You can not take a sack when you are 3rd and 3 inside the 10.
