Les Miles staying at LSU (extension + raise)
Miles to Receive Raise, Contract Extension - LSUsports.net - The Official Web Site of LSU Tigers Athletics
LSU head football coach Les Miles, who became the second-winningest coach in Tiger football history during the 2012 season, will receive an increase in salary and a contract extension following LSU's bowl appearance this year, it was announced Wednesday by Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva.
Details of the contract changes are still in the negotiation process and will be announced at a later date, and are subject to approval of the LSU Board of Supervisors
Guess Arkansas will have to keep looking.

Yeah Les going to Arkansas was about as certain as me sleeping with a playboy playmate.

I don't really understand that offer by Arkansas. If you're going to give someone a Godfather offer, then it has to be one his school can't come close to matching.
I'd have offered him a 7 year deal for 50 million.

I figured Arkansas would call Tuberville. He loves the SEC, he knows how to win there. And then Tech would hire Sonny ***** to replace him.

My point was if you're in Arkansas' position and you want a top 5 coach, don't offer a contract his team can easily match.
