Big East basketball schools & realignment
BE fading in basketball relevance was unthinkable even as recently as two years ago. Doyle: Big East's basketball schools are in danger of being run over by realignment
I expect jumping to/merging with A-10 at some point.

A Catholic only conference led by the Big East powers would be pretty cool.
Syracuse is the other important BE loss in hoops because Madison Square Garden goes with the Cuse for the site for the conference tournament :). Nice to see Uconn put in their place by all this.
