    My issue is NIU is getting in not on their own merit - but due to 2 conference champs being average, "unranked" teams.


    As a result, NIU gets in and another conference gets screwed - even though that conference is very strong.


    Bad conference - rewarded
    Slightly above average non-AQ team - rewarded
    Good conference - punished

    Why does it seem the conference that gets screwed is always the BIG XII? Two years in a row now. Bowls are fun and everything and I am in favor of them over playoffs, but the people that vote on the top 25 need to stop voting based on W-L, and vote on the teams overall actual play. No reason ANY non-bcs team should be top 25 this year
