I'm not a big BCS hater but I prefer computer polls over human polls in which results are manipulated. Anything that involves input from Jim Walden should be highly questioned.
In the Harris Poll, former Miami and Kentucky coach Fran Curci voted the Huskies No. 13. But the biggest outlier was former Iowa State coach Jim Walden, who voted Northern Illinois No. 9.

Why are coaches and ex-coaches considered as pollsters. It makes absolutely zero sense.
If I remember correctly the Harris polls original goal wasn't to find unbiased voters like most polls but to instead find somebody affiliated with each D1 school to vote, and I guess that's the best we had
If you ever listened to the Jim and Jim show on WHO you know he and Zabel shared a brain. Obviously not a very good one. Of course it's possible that Zabel had the brain the day he filled this out.
No matter what, I could NEVER cheer for Dirt and Urine.
