    ACC Presidents Reaffirm Commitment

I know it probably is not worth the paper (or pixels) it is written on but all 15 continuing or future university presidents of the ACC have signed a statement saying all conference realignment rumors concerning their schools are false and they are going to be in the ACC.

This means nothing unless they did some sort of grant of rights. Nebraska and Colorado did the exact same thing for the Big 12 in summer 2010 and the next week they were both gone.
“I told you, I don’t care if you’re black or white. I don’t care if you’re rich or poor. I don’t care where you come from, whether it’s Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I don’t care about any of that… But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads

Why I put the first line in my post, not worth the paper it is written on. I wouldn't be surprised if the ACC moves to a grant of rights especially if the Maryland lawsuit starts to get messy.

This is about how much force it has and what the commissioner's power is in this matter. He may not be Dan Beebe, but he is close.

If they didn't take a blood oath on it, I'm not buying.

That means more schools are moving soon.

"united in our commitment to a strong and enduring conference" is a synonym for "firmly entrenched."
