Wisconsin has found its new head coach, and it's Utah State 's Gary Andersen.
Reports first surfaced on Tuesday evening that the Utah State coach had interviewed for the position and had emerged as a favorite, and now reports say Andersen is no longer the favorite. He's the choice.
The Wisconsin State Journal is reporting that Andersen is a done deal and will succeed Bret Bielema at Wisconsin.
Most people were not expecting a big name actually. Maybe on the message boards they were, but anyone with any knowledge knows whoever they hired would have to do it Barry's way. A big name wouldn't have wanted that. This is a solid hire.
Kinda wierd how wisconsin now will have two consecutive coaches with tattoos of other schools mascots.... went from herky to an aggie guess that's an upgrade.
