    Mizzou/UCLA

Entertaining game so far. Bill Walton is also much better than I remembered but that may just be because I listened to Bob Knight last night, who is horrendous.

Sure, if you like unprepared analysts. Bill Walton said more players names in that first half than Bob Knight has said in his broadcasting career.

Not to mention Bob Knight puts me to sleep.

Haha, fair enough. I'll agree to disagree. Bob Knight knows the game better, and breaks down the game better, while Bill Walton rambles on and on about how wonderful everything is and tells random stories...although he occasionally cracks me up.

Pressey is unreal, such a good passer.

Bob Knight is obsessed with the shot fake. Never stops talking about it. I think Walton is better.

Pressey with 16 assists. This is a really fun game to watch. If you love offense, this is your game.

Agree on that. I think he is about as fun of a player to watch as there is. Also, I know he's not playing well tonight, but I think we should've took Negus Webster Chan when we had the chance. He is having a pretty good freshman campaign for them. I know the word was that he had some issues and would pry want more playing time than we could give him, but I think we missed out on a solid wing. Especially with Clyburn and Babb being seniors. Hindsight is 20/20 though.

    Re: Mizzou/UCLA

No doubt Bob Knight breaks the game down better but he's also notorious for not preparing for a game ahead of time. Which is why he never mentions any names during the broadcast.

    Re: Mizzou/UCLA

I won't dispute that he doesn't put as much time into preparation...and he LOVES the shot fake. I enjoy listening to him because he tells it like it is, and breaks down the game in ways that other people don't. That's just me though, different strokes for different folks.

    Re: Mizzou/UCLA

Bob Kinght > Bill Walton. Bob Knight is one of, if not the best "Xs and Os" commentators I've ever heard. The guy is a basketball genius who communicates his knowledge very well...probably why he was such a great coach.

A guy who I think would be a fun announcer after he retires is Jim Boeheim. A lot like Knight in that he's got a high basketball IQ, speaks very plainly and directly, and isn't afraid to make an off-color mark here and there.

BTW, hell of a basketball game tonight. Pressey was such a stud.
