    Re: Chip Kelly

I see it has high risk/ high reward for the Browns. It looks great for the Browns to get a big name. If Kelly is walking from Oregon before a bomb drops then he has nothing to lose. If he fails, he'll just end up coaching a top shelf college program and the Browns will be in the basement they've been in for 20 years.
The question is who is their GM or did they just repeat their failed recent history of hiring a coach before a GM. Then the two wont mesh, and they fire Kelly in two years when he goes 7-9.

Maybe to prove your point better, you should spell the word you put in CAPS correctly.

    DEFINITELY.

A lot of news sources in Philly say he is interviewing for the Eagles job today.

That's all you got? Weak.... but expected. I tend to do stuff like that too when I can't come up with anything else intelligent to counteract someone's post. Nice job!

Nah, it's one thing to make a mistake when typing out a post in normal manner, but the fact you misspelled a word that you intended to put in all caps, is just comical..

It must really be rough for you being one of the most idiotic, pessimistic posts on this board.

Hear me out, I honestly think Chip Kelly would be best in Houston. Wade Phillips at DC and Chip heading the high potential offense, you've got yourself a SuperBowl team. Kubiak sucks.

I was banned on here for 24 hrs after calling someone else an idiot once. We'll see if that happens to you or not? I'm guessing not. Interesting how that is.

Already bribed the mods... It's cool, bro.

Back to the topic, if Chip makes the jump to the NFL, I think Philly suits him the best. But wouldn't surprise me if he pulls a Pete Carroll.

I wasn't the one that took this thread off topic. You did.

But yes, back on topic. Oregon is going to be in big trouble IMO, and that is why Chip Kelly is leaving.... otherwise I think he would actually stay there.

And, I predict right now that Chip Kelly will be a monumental failure in the NFL. Unless he is somehow able to run more of a pro-style type of offense. His gimmicky garbage that works great in college won't go very far in the NFL.

Guys like RG3 and Michael Vick that run a lot in the pros are getting injured all the time. I love RG3, but he's already getting banged up big time in just his first season. He's not going to last long at this rate in the NFL. Running QBs get killed in the NFL.

His offense could work. It would only work if he is given enough time to get the right athletes, and if the players that are currently on the team could put forth the effort. But those are huge if's.

If he wants his offense to work, he better have 3 REALLY good athletic QBs on his roster. It might take 3 of them to get through the season.

I would say it's: More MONEY (always about money), better on the resume, better talent, more games, playoff system.

    Tim Tebow to Cleveland?
Do you know why I put up with this 'pitiful job', Mr. Donaghy, why I fetch these folks' lunches and clean up their barfs? Cause they make television. And more then jazz, or musical theater, or morbid obesity, television is the true American artform.
