Brian awakened three hours later, saw the text, and sent one back. There was no response. A couple of hours later, Manti called his parents, his heart in pieces.
Lennay Kekua had died.

Do they really expect people to believe this?? A heisman finalist/runner up has never met the girl he's in a serious relationship with? Get real! This was all a lie from day one

I have several friends who married women that they never kissed before the wedding. They weren't Heisman winners, of course, but it's not a completely uncommon Christian thing.

I don't know anybody who publicly mourned a girlfriend that they never met.

Yeah, I was referencing Collin Klein with that post. Just commentary on the fact that people do things that others sometimes find hard to believe.

I don't know what to believe.

1.) I made sure to read the article before I heard anything that way I could make my own starting opinion. After that I felt like he did it all for fame.

2.) listening to Miller and Brinson, some guy called in and said this made him think of a guy who was in the army, who said he had a gf online, so he never went out on the town with them. Later he learned there never was a gf and he was gay. So that was what I thought next. It would make sense because he is going pro and can come out now that he isnt playing for ND ("catholic") anymore.

3.) I watch SC and they release the first ND and Te'o statements, now I'm not sure.

4.) hear about the catfish tweets that were written by the account suspected to be the perpetrator. Now I think Te'o is telling the truth

5.) see tweets that Manti was friends with perpetrator, which makes no sense if the guy is "cat fishing" him. I have no idea now.
