She supposedly lived and died in California, not Hawaii.

How much power do college athletes have? I'd argue way than professional athletes. How in the world does Gene Woj not investigate this further after he himself said it was fishy? Who cares if a 21 year old football player said not to pursue it...do your job. That doesn't happen for Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong, etc. Why did that happen here? Because someone "died"?

It had to have been on his mind. He was completely owned in that game and played like he didn't want to be there (or so it appeared). Now it all makes sense.
