    Nerlens Noel out for season

    In the Kentucky-Florida game last night, Nerlens tore his ACL on a horrific collision where his knee hit the edge of the basketball post. Hope he comes back and can play next year, whether it's at Kentucky or in the NBA.

    FYI - You can hear him screaming in the video in pain, so if you don't do good with injuries, I wouldn't recommend watching.

    acl's are just ridiculous anymore. Used to be just a problem in WBB which it still is, but now even great athletes AP, Rose, Rondo are having them.

    He should have gone to iowa state. We were not even playing last night so ue coyld not have gotten hurt. That's my theory.

    This is the question on ESPN.com and i am surprised that majority of people are saying return to Kentucky. I would definitely go pro. The draft class doesn't have many great players, so i would think he would still go very high. He would be getting payed while rehabbing as oppose to going to class while doing the same.

    Watched that game live and I felt really bad for the kid. I am hoping he recovers well because the kid can play.

    I watched the video on my phone and couldn't really see it clearly. This still shot captures the injury "perfectly".

    Painful. Hope he recovers fully. He'll have plenty of support, I'm sure, and a lot of folks to look to for inspiration. Adrian Peterson and Willis McGahee are two who immediatley come to mind.

    Read somewhere on ESPN.com he would still be a top 5 draft pick even with the injury.
