Nice! We went to the tournament in Cedar Falls a couple of weekends ago to see Alabama play against UNI, Green Bay, and Illinois, and that team looked pretty darn good. Bama has a great hitter in Keima Davis, and of course, they return Jackie Traina.

They are 16-0 coming into this weekend. If our girls can take them down, it would be a monumental victory.

Never good when you pitcher's line shows 3 hits through 3 innings, but 9 runs given up. 7 walks in 3 innings never helps the cause.

Riley Fisher is just a freshman, pretty big task for a first year player to pitch against the # 1 team in the country.

I hope we can build a good softball program. My daughter (who is 9) dreams of playing college softball for Alabama, she adores Jackie Traina. It would be nice if ISU could get good enough where we could send her to the good guys when the time comes.

This team under the current coaching staff has always been about hitting. Pitching and defense have always been pretty brutal.

Leslie Jury is their #2 pitcher, if we're going to put together a rally, we've got a better chance against her than against the J-Train.

Uh, no. She's 9 years old so of course she wants to play for the national champions. As she gets older, she'll get wiser.
