If their budget is so bad, why do they need two sets of helmets...green at home...silver on the road? Hawaii is like the family living in a trailor park who drives an Escalade.
Another thing to take into consideration is their travel expenses, when you have to go that far to play half your games, its most likely get pretty costly
They had a special on TV about this a while back. While a lot of people werent excited about them in a BCS bowl, you gotta admit its fantastic in terms of funding the program for the future.

You can come play at Hawaii or Boise, ID. I realize all the drawbacks, but that is a nice trump.
I have a friend that is from Hawaii. She still have family there. She has told me, in the past, that the University of Hawaii is a terrible school and that they have to persuade in state students to stay there.
What ever happened to truth, justice and the American Way?
I have heard it is not as great as everyone thinks. One time they had a cloud and it dropped to like 72 degrees. I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound like fun to me.
