Exactly. Unless he stands directly under the basket, he can't do anything on defense.

I saw an article on this guy. He may be freakishly tall, but his health is a major issue and probably was the only thing prevented a lot of major programs to go after him. He could play in the NBA, but would only last a few seasons before his joints started to break down.
