Moving article about Tim Parmeter

Man it was hard to get through this article. I can't even imagine what it would be like to go through this...

That article is almost unbelievable.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

Wow, my thoughts and prayers got out to Tim. I hope he can work through the grief and pain that his wife has caused him. No matter how bad or difficult the marriage was at that point her actions could NEVER be justified by men or god.

That's pretty F'd up article...I dont know why or how someone could speak so openly of a childs murder with such detail, including the suicide note only 12 months after the tragic events.

Wow that is nuts. In no way do I condone what she did, but he was the one who left her (for reasons we don't know) and while the situation is tragic he is hardly free of any fault here.

I know I will prolly get ripped for the above opinion.

Re: Moving article about Tim Parmeter

It's impossible in most of these situations to say that one person left the marriage. I went through a divorce a while ago. My wife left me for another man, but I'm the one who moved out of the house so she still claims that I'm the one who left. Yeah, because she was sleeping with another man.
Any way you look at it, even if he was the only one to blaim for the speration, there is no way that anyone deserves this.

Re: Moving article about Tim Parmeter

While I see your point isufbcurt that yes the marriage had issues, but she had no right and he has no responsibility in the murder of his child. The note she left was the sign of a mentally unstable person who had nothing but hate in her heart. Regardless of what he had done to her if anything whether it be mental or physical, how can anyone justify the killing of an innocent child? Especially by the childs own mother. Just sick. I hope Tim can take comfort in the idea that she is in Hell and his son is in Heavan. If you choose to believe in that sort of thing.

It's obvious that she had some form of psychotic disorder. Judging by some prior events she should have been getting some sort of treatment and be heavily medicated. I HIGHLY doubt she had 'hate' in her heart and went to hell because of it. It's a very sad story, but one that should make you more aware of mental illness, not hatefull people...

She is a person you wish they could have shocker her back to life just so someone could kill her again. She is in Hell.

Re: Moving article about Tim Parmeter

wow.. thats terrible..

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

Every individual deals with the grieving process in their own way. What you think is f'd up may be exactly what Tim needs at this point. He sounds like he has his own demons that he needs to exorcise, and this is one way to do it.

WOW. This lady kills his son and herself. Leaves a picture of the kid with Blue Puffy lips that she took while she was killing him. Leaves him a letter saying it's all his fault. Has the kid scribble on it and says it's the son saying thanks and you want to blame Tim for speaking about it. That is all you got is that Tim is messed up for talking about it. Man that is messed up. I would not be able to do as good as Tim is doing right now. I would probably be laying in a gutter with an empty bottle of Jagermeister laying next to me.

I don't want to hijack this thread with a discussion of whether or not evil exists, but this is more than mental illness. If she killed herself, or killed him, maybe that's mental illness. Killing his 2 year old son to spite him, that's evil.
