That is truely a pathetic showing. 7th grade girls basketball teams score more than 20 points!

At one time they were shooting 9% or 3 for 33. They had only 14 points with 6 minutes to go so they turned it on to score 6 more.

Half Empty glass - scored 20.
Half Full Glass - held the opponent to 49 and set a national modern day record at same time.

They will practice Friday.

There has been some surprisingly poor basketball as of late. Savannah St. sucking doesn't surprise me. But a Majerus lead club only scoring 20 in a game is a surprise.

I was reading this article NCAA Basketball - Saint Louis Billikens/George Washington Colonials Recap Thursday January 10, 2008 - Yahoo! Sports and Majerus says "we have issues" about 6 times in the interview.

Re: Majerus's SLU squad scores 20 TOTAL points

I actually had the game on and fell asleep for about 45 minutes and didn't miss a field goal.

At one point, they missed like 25 shots in a row.

George Washington is going to be my sleeper pick in the tourney. They play lockdown D and aren't so bad on offense either.
