The only alternative I have heard from the "Don't know the words" is the Delta Zeta's version, which is titled "We want cold beer."

Since that is not the way it is sung do you know the actual words to the particular song off the top of your head since people didn't do it while you attended? or does anybody know how it started?

The vulgar line used to be "and I don't care".

FWIW I heard a rumor of how it got started in the early '90s but I don't believe it. I lived in a fraternity house, and rumor goes that one of our members started it.
Its too urban legend for me to believe it, but like I say, FWIW it is a story I was told as freshman.

The current words were the only ones I ever heard to the song since I started back in 2001.

Not sure it ever actually had words. Does it have to have words? No need to add vulgarity, that's for sure.

There is am impact because on more than one level CA represents the university and it is a family sports event. So, there are very likely to be complaints.

Good job out of Cyclone Alley and the student section today! Best I've seen/heard all year keep it up. You could really tell how loud and intemidationg it was. It was definetly reflected on TV how difficult it would have been for the opposing team to opperate with a crowd like that.

It is a family event. no one said you couldn't bring your kids. just make sure that they know what we do is a no no and shouldn't be said. tell them that we are naughty and that we have to sit in the corner when we get home.
