I just got back from the St. Paul Winter Carnival Parade with my kids, and wanted to share my exciting news with you:
Tim Brewster (head coach of the Gophers who supposedly "turned down" the Cyclones job and who is possibly the biggest blowhard in the history of coaching) waved to me! *sarcastic swoon*
I was tempted to shout "Go Cyclones" or "You can recruit but can't coach!" at him, but was afraid I would be mobbed by an angry crowd. | | |

It will be interesting to see all of the crushed athletes who he promised playing time to immediately sitting. This will haunt him.

You gotta admit though, he is bringing in one heck of a class to Minnesota. I wish ISU could get that kind of class.

He just seems untrustworthy, and none to happy to be marching in a winter parade, I might add.

He smoozes pretty good. He will win some games - at least two next year , one of them in their Superbowl.
| EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl. |

This guy will say anything to recruits. Promise of playing time, Rose Bowl, ect.Plus, he gave 3 scholarships to average guys from Cretin Durham Hall in hopes of landing Michael Floyd, but he went to Notre Dame and now Brewster is stuck with them.
The gophers were suppose to be good last year. My friend figured 8 wins at worst. Even with a new system, and the expectations were probably too high, but one win.
He may get talent, but you have to know what to do with it.

Didn't he recruit a ton of JC's?
That's not always a recipe for success
