P'Allen Stinnett

is going off right now against Drake. Within 5 minutes of me turning this game on he's knocked down three 3's and thrown down a sick jam.

Creighton might lose this game, but P'Allen has put on quite a show. He's a fun player to watch.

Guys get over it.... He didn't want to play for McD. How much longer are we going to cry about this. Its done and over. If having him meant keeping Morgan, count me out

Re: P'Allen Stinnett

nobody is crying about anything...he's a great player and I got to know P'Allen really well during his recruitment...I'm very happy for him glad he's doing so well. I have no idea how my post could be taken as crying about anything.

I think he's doing a great job and should have plenty of room to continue to grow in his role. I don't think he could have found a better fit for what he wants to do. It would have been nice to have his talent but so goes the way of recruiting.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Well... I just got tired of seeing all the post about either previous players, or players that were recruited here. They didn't show up.

I do understand Chris that your situation is different, just because you get to know these guys. Its good to see your passionate about your job, and take it serious.

I don't thing Chris was crying about anything, but you've got to admit that it wouldn't be a bad thing to have him either.

Besides that, I do see your point. This comes along the lines of the football recruiting right now. Why worry until signing day, your just giving yourself headaches if you do. Stinnett was a maybe fore sometime, but was a never was when it came to the end of it all. Does that mean we moap around about it, no, but it doesn't mean we can't embrace what he has. The guy's got talent, and some that's fun to watch at that.

Yeah, I realize he wasn't crying. It's his job to get to know these guys. He has a bond with these guys.

Still I'm just sick of posts like this and it may have to do with football recruiting and the turnover with the basketball program.

I just hope we don't sit here and have posts about Josh Jordan, or Marshal or who ever didnt' come to ISU this football season.

The only way that happens is if these guys are non-factors (See UConn Football 2007).

Actually Stinnett may be their best player already. Dane Watts may be second.

LOL, it does get tiresome at times, but that also makes for good sports debates. Half of sports talk isnt the "what wills" or "could be's", its the "should haves" and "what if's".

As much as we may want it to end, it will never die. The best thing to do is look away or get ear plugs.

Oh, nice avatar!
