I've personally always enjoyed the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Not that strange, but I still like it.

I know there is a high school in Freport, IL that's mascot is the pretzel. I talked to a girl from there and apparently their battle cry is: "You can eat us, but you can't beat us!"

TRUE & VALIANT

I live in Irvine (home of the UC-Irvine Anteaters). One of their "cheers" is "ZOT! ZOT!", which apparently is the noise an anteater makes.......?

They made the College World Series last year, btw.

I have to say the dancing Christmas tree at Stanford, since it has almost no correlation to a Cardinal.

There was a high school in my conference that was the Milan Midgets.

I don't understand the Iowa's. A Hawk-eye? Why would you name your mascot after the eye of a hawk? That's pretty odd, I think.

Arnaud is a beast.

I'm a big fan of this article, thing gets me rolling every time I read it

Drivl.com | The Worst NCAA D-I College Mascots

"I envision Lil' Red as Big Boy's jealous, bitter younger brother, who tried to open his own chain of restaurants but failed, and is now reduced to shooting Slim Jims and children's coloring menus out of a t-shirt cannon to fans during Nebraska games."

Especially consider the constant state of myopia among Hawk fans.

You mean like the Cardinal Bird, that has almost no correlation to a Cyclone?
