Now the players are saying if Sampson is fired, they wont show up for games... Could get interesting...

No chance that Knight is hired back by IU, there are too many people still in the administration that were instrumental in running him in the first place. Also, I heard that the previous president (was that Brand?) was more responsible for bringing in Sampson than was the current AD. That may save the current AD his job, at least for now. I guess we'll see what happens.

Totally glad we're not Indiana right now. I know they're ranked and all that - but man - what a mess. Glad we've never went though anything like that. Oh...wait...

As far as the folks in New Mexico pimping Steve for the job - I wonder if they're trying to get rid of him already!

I've heard rumors that Bruce Pearl is Indiana's #1 choice. I personally don't think that will happen. He's got it pretty good at Tennesse (low pressure, big $$$, and the #2 team in the nation).

I think Indiana will have learned their lesson and will not necssarily go after the "hot" name, but go after a strong character guy. Come to think of it, Licklighter would fit perfectly at Indiana after all of this has gone down. I give Iowa credit (it's very hard for me to do that) for getting Licklighter last year when they had the chance. I don't see him leaving Iowa 1 year into his contract, so Indiana will have to look elsewhere.
