Colorado state
ESPN Just showed highlights of the ISU women winning today. That is rare. BUT then the showed that Colorado State just beat #13 Utah in their tourney. The thing that is crazy is that CSU was 0-16 in conference play and had 3 wins this season. Wow.
Make sure you don't call the charge. But make sure you call the foul on the scrum.... -

Re: Colorado state
Utah was 16-0 too in conference, and had only 3 losses on the year.

Re: Colorado state
That has to be one of the biggest upsets all year if you think about it.
Tournament, 0-16 versus 16-0. Crazy.
It won't happen, but I would like to see CSU sneak into the tourney with 6-7 wins.

Tim Miles at CSU is a close friend of Mac's he followed Mac at NDSU, and has struggled at CSU this year....
Tim while at NDSU ...Beat Wisconsin at Wisconsin to end a 33 game home streak...then the next year beat Marquette at the Bradley Center......two signature wins, for a transitioning D1 school...
Congrats to CSU and Tim, could not have happened to a better guy

Let me be the first to bust out the cliche line we all know is coming:
That's why they play the games

This was the women's team, not coached by Miles. however, the men's team (0-16 in conference) did beat Wyoming (5-11) in their first round.

Originally Posted by coopaloop72 WOW, colorado state basketball for mens and womens was 1-32 in conference during regular season play! that is pretty bad. Actually, I just did some looking. Realized that that 1-16 record was AFTER today. So both teams went 0-16 in conference play.
and combined, their regular season records were 8-51. Don't confuse hope for a plan. -

Re: Colorado state
That is what Utah gets for beating us in the tourny that one year.
Step 1: Cut a hole in the box. -

If golf, we would call them sandbaggers.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Colorado state
And people think our athletic program is in shambles...
Football: 3-9 (2-6)
MBB: 7-24 (0-16)
WBB: 4-27 (0-16)
I mean, really - we could be that horrible AND play in a weaker conference without any hope for improvement...
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -
Re: Colorado state
How did former recruit Andre Mcfarland look for Colorado state? I bet he wishes now he went to Iowa State.
