Saint Mary's vs Miami should be interesting, and of course, USC vs KSU

    Re: 1st Round Matchups

I'm going to go with USC and Kansas State. Two teams from power conferences with marquee players. K-State is clearly good enough to run with anyone in the nation but they seem to have a problem of putting it all together when it counts, especially away from home. They've got the tools, just not sure they have the toolbox to compete with SoCal.

A lot of good matchups in the first round. USC vs K State, Purdue vs. Baylor, Clemson vs. Villanova, Mississippi State vs. Oregon, Marquette vs. Kentucky, West Virginia vs. Arizona.

Clemson v. Villanova. Clemson played well in the ACC tourney but Nova always has a tough team

Xavier v. GA. Georgia seems to be hot right now and how mad would you be if your team was a 3 seed and had to play them instead of a Western Kentucky type team?

Oklahoma and St. Joe's. Let's see what Tasheed can do against the Sooners.

    Re: 1st Round Matchups

Anyone bold enough to pick a 10 or lower seed in sweet 16??

I like #10 Davidson over #7 Gonzaga and #2 Georgetown or #11 Kansas St over #6 USC and #3 Wisconsin.

I actually picked both in my pool...

That will be a good one. The ESPN crew was just speaking highly of St. Joe's thinking they could make some noise. They mentioned Tasheed as one of their stronger players.

I personally think that Oklahoma was overseeded as a 6 seed. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see St. Joe's beat them.
