    Belmont Bruins - Website Crashes

If you're like half the country and trying to go to Belmont's website right now you'll notice that it's crashed under pressure.

Belmont University - Nashville, Tennessee - Middle TN - Liberal Arts College
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Crashed kind of like their team did in the last 15 seconds unfortunately.

That lob play had greatness/historic highlight written all over it. I can picture the play in my mind but they didn't make it happen.

I can picture Angelina Jolie in my mind, too, and can't make that happen either.

When Belmont was taking the ball in bounds from under their basket, instead of the lob it was a perfect spot for the old "barking dog" play! That would have been classic!

Good analogy, actually. Atleast while picturing Jolie you can get some pleasure out of it. Those poor kids at Belmont have nothing.

That would have been freaking sweet. I doubt that Coach K told his players in that TO to make sure to ignore #12 when he gets on his hands and knees and starts barking.

All this talk of Angelina Jolie, on hands and knees barking, has piqued my interest.

"Piqued my interest" is a euphemism, by the way.

I really thought that they were gonna pull it off... I even thought that the long 3 was gonna go in.

Having Duke lose tonight would have been great for us. We really need another #2 seed to lose sometime soon so fans think of some other team besides us when it comes to that type of upset.

That is all I was thinking. Please let Duke lose so we are no longer the last 2 to lose. Please please please. But it didn't happen.

That was the only reason I was cheering for Belmont. I was ready to erase all Hampton memories with thoughts of Duke losing as a #2 seed.

    But no...
