Steve Wellmer who officiates a lot of ISU's games is #1 on games refereeds this year at 111. If you don't know who this guy is, he always talks to the fans on the sidelines, and is known at least by all my buddies is the dude who always pulls his pants up ALL THE TIME!
You can even click on a specific referee and click on the exact game he officiated and see the ref stats for the game.

Not a bad little side income. I'd bet those guys are pulling 4-5hundred per night with travel expenses being covered.

Arrogant Hartzell said he gets $1,000 a game. He also said he was doing about 35 - 40 games a year while he was supposed to be the full time AD at UNI. On this site Hartzell has done 66 games this year. It has a map that shows the location of the games where he officiated. I would really be curious to know how many days he was not in his office at UNI due to officiating. But it doesn't make any difference now. President Allen showed him the university was bigger than Hartzell

I have a customer that officiates in the big 10, big 12, mo-valley and the big east. They make closer to $1500 a game plus expenses. Wellmer make over $100,000 a year. | |
