Hm...I'd stay in SoCal if I were him. The only thing okie state has over usc is money, maybe.

Re: Tim Floyd to OSU?

God I hope not. And even so, Tim really needs to set some roots somewhere.

Re: Tim Floyd to OSU?

I would think it would take a truckload of money to get Floyd to leave Southern Cal. Of course T. Boone Pickens has more than a few spare tuckloads of cash lying around.

You mean to say you wouldn't take Stillwater, Oklahoma over Los Angeles?

I will say good day to you, sir.

Re: Tim Floyd to OSU?

I loved having TF on as our HC. But I have learned a bit from TF.... IMO, if the deal is over 2.25M, he will go. He follows money.

My KU contacts were telling me that, when Bill Self "consulted" with OSU, he recommended Tim Floyd.

I would prefer that Tim stay the hell out of our conference.

I wouldn't...he is too good of a coach...I love cheering for his teams and probably wouldn't' be able to do too much of that if he was in the Big 12...

Re: Tim Floyd to OSU?

I think Floyd is one of the top 5 coaches in all of college ball but he hasn't stayed put long enough to allow his abilities to truley shine through. He did good at ISU and went to a sure-failure with the Bulls. He was going to fail there from the get go, just as any coach was going to with the situation they were going to take over. At USC he has a chance to really build a monster program if he stays put. I don't see any reason other than money for him to go to OSU, and even that it would have to be a serious offer for him to leave what he's got started.

Re: Tim Floyd to OSU?

You know that T Boone's money will land a coach who knows how to win. It might as well be someone who our fans can pull for when we don't play them. Actually it could be beneficial to have someone who could give Texas something to worry about in the South.

Re: Tim Floyd to OSU?

ISU fans love to overrate Floyd. Look at his resume and tell me what puts him in top 5 category? Top 20?

Now don't get me wrong, I think he is a good coach. He has done good things at all his stops in college but he hasn't done anything great. I don't believe he has gone past the sweet 16
